چکیده
Introduction: Composite resins have excellent mechanical properties, including fast polymerization, aesthetic quality, easy handling, and the ability to adhere enamel surfaces. However, there are alsosome disadvantages from this material, one of them is residual monomers. Bulk-fill composite areavailable in sculptable (solid) flowable (liquid) form. Most resin matrix aromatic oraliphatic acrylates. Bis-GMA, UDMA, TEGDMA monomers that commonly used butshow a high cytotoxicity level. They also poor properties such as wear resistance, hardness, tendency change color, may cause pulp reactions. Aim: The aim study was investigate thenumber bulk-fill composites submersion 75%ethanol solution (10 minutes, an hour, 24 hours). Methods: Sculptable wereused study. Samples (4 mm thick, 5 diameter) were prepared polymerized for 10 secondswith intensity 1025 mW / cm2 light emitted diode (LED). After sample made, each samplewas immediately immersed 75% ethanol extraction liquid stored amber-coloredbottles at room temperature. taken many 7 cc intervals 24hours. analyzed by High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC). data obtainedwere using Kruskal-Wallis Test, Independent T-Test Mann-Whitney Test significancelevel p <0.05. Result: amount elusion remaining compositewas higher than composite. UDMA bulk fill submersed hours highest among other Conclusion: Residual monomerseluted inside all time periods eluted increaseswith time.

Comparing the Microleakage of Bulk-Fill (flowable, packable) Composite Restorations and Conventional Light-cured Composites
Introduction and aim: Bulk Fill composites have increased polymerization depth and their contraction stress, and cuspal deflection are reduced in comparison with conventional composites. Therefore, it is claimed that their microleakage is reduced. The aim of this study was to compare microleakage of (flowable and packable) Bulk Fill and conventional resin composites. Materials and Methods: Thi...

Background and Aim: Composite placement poses many challenges, especially in the gingival floor with dentinal margins. Microleakage is one of the factors affecting the longevity of dental restorations. We aimed to compare the microleakage of cavities filled with bulk-fill composite at enamel and dentinal margins. Materials and Methods: In this experimental study, a total of 102 sound human pre...
متن کاملIn Vitro Evaluation of Marginal Sealing Ability of Bulk Fill Flowable Composite Resins
Aim: The purpose of this study is to analyse marginal sealing ability of bulk fill flowable composite resins. Materials and Methods: A standard class V cavity (3 mm mesiodistal width, 3 mm occlusogingival height, and 1.5 mm axial depth) will be prepared at the cementoenamel junction (CEJ) on the facial surface of eighty human teeth with a 0.5 mm wide 45° beveled enamel margin and a 90° cervical...
متن کاملMicrohardness of Bulk-Fill Composite Materials
The aim of the study was to determine microhardness of high- and low-viscosity bulk-fill composite resins and compare it with conventional composite materials. Four materials of high-viscosity were tested, including three bulk-fills: QuiXfi l (QF), x-tra fi l (XTF) and Tetric EvoCeram Bulk Fill (TEBCF), while nanohybrid composite GrandioSO (GSO) served as control. The other four were low-viscos...
متن کاملColor Stability of Two Bulk-Fill Composite Resins
Objective: Bulk-fill composites are a group of composite resins designed for easy and fast filling of large cavities. This study aimed to assess the color stability of bulk-fill composites subjected to xenon radiation and evaluate their color change (&DeltaE) following polymerization. Methods: In this in vitro experimental study, 30 specimens (4mm in height and 8mm in diameter) were fabricat...
